Hi, I am back from my Dublin trip! Ireland is really a very pretty country but I am afraid five days are way too short to see enough of it! But though we had a nice time and besides the stormy, cold wind we had much better weather than expected. For those who are interested I would like to share some photos in this journal.
Dublin city, lots of little pubs, restaurants, historical buildings and stores. I really like the people there, they are very friendly and mostly in a good temper.
The city by night is very impressive with all the lights.
The stores have lots of cute and sweet food like muffins and chocolate, we couldn't resist to taste some of it.
Here we visited the peninsula Howth. First we walked through the port and later followed a path along the cliffs.
Poorly the photos don't show how stunning the view really was. We also saw some seals at the port.
A trip to Glendalough. Ruins of St. Kevin's church with pretty celtic graveyard.
And here the beautiful nature of Glendalough. We have lots of mountains, woods and water streams.
We found Gollum. It just sat there on a stone, maybe searching for his precious. Mids took a fast shot of it.
Awesome view over the big lake.
Good luck!! Best wishes from Ireland
