Revenge of Rakazel Portrait: Balbaris

I now upload the Rakazel portraits separately for my portfolio because I want to add these busts to the commissions aso.

Here's my OC Balbaris! Learn more about him:
The main character. Balbaris, 29 years, is the captain of a flying pirate ship with the name Rakazel. He has received the nickname "the crow" from his buddies because of the rumor that crows are direct messengers from the hades, and therefore can not be killed. Balbaris is totally unaware of it and finds it rather ridiculous that he has become famous with this name. So he constantly makes fun of this superstition. The captain loves his freedom and wants to do whatever he feels like. Most of all he wants to prove that no limits are set for him, that he is able to reach every goal. No destination is too risky or too difficult. He is mostly very open and does not have much to hide. But he can also be very sneaky when he wants to reach a goal. For example he enjoys to annoy the upper class by robbing their citizens. Mainly due to the theft of important, rare substance ether.But the ministers are fighting back and send the mage Seik to extinguish the Rakazel crew. Balbaris as the only survivor seeks revenge to restore the honor of his fallen men (and his own of course). After he has recovered from his wounds, he decides to play a trick on the mages and kidnapped the young nobleman Lourde, who is of inestimable value for the capital. Although they have completely different views and a lot of disagreement, the two unequal men have some exciting adventures and become best friends in the end. Lourde makes his decision and remains with the crew. So does Ranil, Ylan and for some time Seik. In his past Balbaris belonged to the crew of captain Raoul. The two shared the captaincy on the pirate ship "Merry Bay", but the two friends became worst rivals. Balbaris is perhaps not the strongest pirate, but he is bursting with self-confidence and charisma, he is a clever and inventive mind and with his convincing manner he easily rallys people around him. He also unites many bad qualities, so he can be quite stubborn and unrepentant or annoyed. But he can mostly ignore failures and blunders, he takes it away with a great sense of humor. Even with his enemies Balbaris can cope well if he wants, but he would never underestimate them. He distrusts the sneaky Ylan, but the two are on one wavelength in humor terms and Balbaris knows that Ylan may be useful as an accomplice. He also doesn’t call Seik a friend, but he knows how to deal with him.
